WHY A HOME INSPECTION:

A professional home inspection is your best tool when it comes to making the most of your home investment. Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining your home, an objective professional inspection will provide you with important information that you can use. If you're buying, you want to know that the home you're considering is safe and sound. You want to avoid unwelcome and costly surprises. If you're selling your home, you will need to make full disclosure of any and all deficiencies. You'll want to know what, if any, repairs to make so you can market your home most effectively. Whichever side of the "For Sale" sign you're on, a quality and professional home inspection is essential. If you're not selling or buying and you own your home, our home maintenance inspections are a great way to avoid costly repairs or replacements in the future.

WHY A LICENSED & CERTIFIED INSPECTOR:

A Licensed and Certified home inspector has completed a national exam and met all state licensing requirements to perform home inspections and is required to obtain continued education to maintain a license. States like Idaho do not have any licensing requirements for home inspectors so it is important to make sure your inspector is licensed or nationally certified. Licensed home inspectors in Washington are required to carry E&O insurance (Errors and Omissions), you'll want to make sure your inspector is fully insured.

ASHI member#262428

We are a member of ASHI and when inspecting in Idaho, because Idaho has no SOP or Code of ethics for Home Inspectors, we abide by ASHI Standards of Practices and Code of Ethics. Washington has its own state requirements that meet or exceed ASHI's.

NEC/IRC/NSPC

Our inspections always follow National requirements written by building industry professionals like, International Residential Codes, National Electrical Codes, National Standard Plumbing Codes or State building codes.

NFPA

Our Inspections are first and foremost for our clients health and safety, we always recommend professionals with certifications like the National Fire Protection Agency certification and others in specific trades.
